ADULT EYE EXAMS

Why Do You Need an Eye Exam?

Your eyes are always changing. Structures and textures change with age, functionality is altered, and some systems can stop working over time. And while you’d think these things would be obvious, for the most part, they happen without you even knowing it. Regular eye exams allow us to carefully evaluate the overall structure, health and functionality of your eye; both inside and out.

It’s more than simply keeping your prescription up to date (although we do that too). Many eye diseases like glaucoma and age-related macular degeneration develop and worsen without ever showing a single symptom. An eye exam is the best (and often only) way to catch and treat eye disease before they go on to cause significant up permanent vision loss.

We recommend having your eyes examined once a year. This allows us to accurately and proactively monitor your eye health.

If it’s been more than a year since your last eye exam, contact us to book an appointment today.
